Indestructable egg protection container!?!?!?

So, I have to make a container for school that is waterproof/ floats and can be hit several times by a baseball bat. The egg has to be able to be removed and put back in several times (the container can be wrapped in ducktape and cut and rewrapped a lot though) and we cannot use and metal or wooden supplies. I am looking for something that can withstand and protect an average medium egg possibly to the extent of an adult taking a baseball bat to it from over their heads. It has to be able to pretty much fall off a cliff and survive a rockslide!!!

and put some kind of foam around the egg, or any other soft material, to stop the force of the impact from going straight to the egg and breaking it.
the outer shell could be fiberglass.
try a spherical/clamshell shape.
the egg would rest in the center, protected by soft padding. leave some space for the egg to move around a little inside.

for waterproofing, use a rubber gasket around the seams of the two clamshell halves. there has to be some tight locking mechanism, so the rubber gaskets will keep the water out. and a spherical shape can be neutrally buoyant at least.

if you used bubble wrap around the egg, the bubble wrap will transfer the force of the blow directly to the egg. Instant mush. the key is to stop the force of the impact from going to the egg. rigid shell and soft interior would do fine.

man, whoever gave you this project sure is asking a lot…
