does shaking the baseball bat increases your chance at hitting the ball?

i wiggle the bat a little while im hitting and i notice i have a tendency to foul of alot of pitches and get hits . when i dont shake it it feels hard to swing like my. arms are asleep. does shaking the bat make it easier?

I don’t think it makes it easier, but some people have different methods that work better for them. I think I hit better when I shake the bat because I can time it better, but other people may think it’s a poor method. It all depends on what you think is good for you.
