playing baseball PLEASE PLEASE HELP?

i play baseball and i SUCK at batting. like im the WORST. i bat left and throw right. i have a decent arm and i can catch a whole lot. tryouts are march 16th. And i know i have about a month but thats not a lot of time to drastically improve. The problem is i have no one to play with. my dad never plays with me and their is no one in my neighborhood at all. i would go buy a tee but im totally broke and i owe my parents $180 so they wont buy it. so do you have ANY ideas at all on how to get better at hitting besides throwing the ball up and swinging b/c thats what i do and when someone finally plays my footworks all wrong from me throwing it up i have to swing fast and the balls dont go far. so any ideas at all would be helpful. THANKS

Well you can try the batting cages. They aren’t very expensive. You can go to a sporting goods store they usually have a ball that is attached to a band and you can tie it to a pole or a tree and practice with that. Another way is to find a wall use a tennis ball or there are rubber type baseballs that you can throw against the wall and practices hitting the ball at the wall. Also a tee isn’t too hard to make.
