Physics help? i can’t get these two problems?

An airplane is flying with a velocity of v0 = 256 m/s at an angle of 30.0° with the horizontal, as the drawing shows. When the altitude of the plane is h = 2.6 km, a flare is released from the plane. The flare hits the target on the ground. What is the angle ?

I can’t visualize the 1st problem; the photo doesn’t work.
2nd problem:
v * t = x
therefore
t = x/v
evaluate for ball thrown
(115)/(41) = 2.8s, so the runner will get caught. Vertical velocity doesn’t matter, unless you’re talking about the outfielder overthrowing, which isn’t the case here.
