Upper Deck, one of the world’s largest sports card makers, is making a “MLB Legends” pack which will feature classic baseball players such as Babe Ruth, as well as recent retirees. Included among the list of recent retirees is Benny Agbayani. However, instead of using a picture of Agbayani hitting a homerun, Upper Deck has chosen a picture of Agbayani being hit in the crotch with the baseball during a game at Pittsburgh in 2002.
The pack comes out November 22, 2006, so there is still time to make a difference. Please E-mail Upper Deck and let them know what you think of ruining great men’s careers.

Benny was never even a starter. He has no place in a legends set. I did email them though, told them that I thought it was a cheap shot and if they put it in I would not be buying that set. Good or bad folks deserve their dignity.
