Baseball Hitting Questions

baseball hitting questions

baseball hitting questions
Why come pitchers in baseball never apologize for hitting a batter?

If they said, “I’m sorry, or my fault!” Like they do in other sports they wouldn’t get rushed at the mound! I just notice that other sports are more courteous. Also, in baseball after the game, they don’t shake the opposing teams hands…saying good game! Unlike Football, or Basketball. Your thoughts about both questions? 2 in 1 question I’m asking.

Well, sometimes when pitchers don’t apologize, it’s because they meant to hit the batter. These are the times when the pitcher gets rushed. Most of the time, the batter just takes his free base.

As for hand shaking, its mainly the majors that don’t do this. All the time I played AA we did after every single game, win or lose. I don’t know what happens in the major leagues that caused them to stop, but they do. Weird.
