Is it possible for a dog’s eye to be discolored by a baseball hitting it?

We took our husky puppy to a tee ball game where a ball hit her in her left eye. About a week after that the lower half of that eye turned brown. Do you think it was caused by the impact of the ball or just a coincidence. I know it’s genetically possible for their eyes to turn brown later. The vet has looked at her and says her eye is fine. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas. Thanks

Obviously if the white part had turned brown I wouldn’t be questioning if it was due to genetics it would be damage from the impact of the ball.

Sounds like the dog has a blood clot in the eye due to injury. Get a second opinion if it bothers the dog. Or just wait it will clear up as the clot dissolves.

However, don’t take my word for it. I would get a second opinion if it was worrying me.
