Good Pre Season Baseball Workouts?
My baseball season is starting in around one month. I’ve got a steady based diet that will drop around 3 pounds a week minimal.
I’ve already planned to start throwing around 15 balls a day to get my arm stretched out. I’ll start waking up at 6:00 am and jogging and going farther as I progress. I’ll probably do sprints twice a week and when everything drys up I’ll work on my hitting and catching. I’ll also be doing regular things like sit ups and push ups.
Does anyone have anything else that they know of that works or that they do?
My teammates and I bought the Major League Insider Training System and have been using it for the last couple of months. I must say….it is pretty awesome. It was designed by a major league strength coach. Mets guy. David Wright endorses it so it was good enough for us! Let me know how it works for you. Jay
