Taking a survey: Should Pete Rose Be In the Baseball Hall Of Fame?

With all of the problems regarding steroids in baseball and how they have aided players to break existing records, Pete Rose admittedly gambled on baseball and has been banned from baseball for over 20 years. There is no proof that he bet against his own team. Should he be reinstated and enshrined in the hallowed halls of Baseball’s Hall of Fame? His records are the best in the history of baseball. 3000 hits is an Amazing feat. His over 4000 hits is just incredible.
PS..If you look at the people already enshrined in the Hall of Fame, you will find more than a few that
broke laws, also gambled, etc…..
Should Ty Cobb be there even though he was a racist and played dirty, maybe even cheated in other ways?
Another note about any other ball players who bet on games. Cap Anson and the legendary John McGraw bet on their own baseball games and it was highly publicized in the newspapers at that time. Just like Rose!!!!

Should he be in the Hall of Fame? WITH OUT A DOUBT, YES! Yeah sure he bet on baseball so fine kick him out of the game, but you have to put him in the Hall of Fame. Your character doesn’t affect if you should be in the Hall of Fame, if it did then Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Reggie Jackson, and George Brett wouldn’t be in the Hall of Fame. George Brett broke the rules by using to much pine tar on his bat, Ty Cobb beat up a black guy when he congradulated him on his 3,000th career hit, Babe Ruth cheated on his wife a countless number of times, and the only thing Pete Rose did was bet on his own team to win. Wow…looks like Pete Rose may not be the biggest jerk or the biggest rule breaker after all. If you’re going to keep Pete Rose, the all-time hit leader out of the Hall of Fame, then you had better stick to the biased method of your selection process and remove people like Ty Cobb from the Hall of Fame. Pete Rose played his heart out and gave 110% every day while the athletes today use steroids. Pete Rose did more than any needle could do. Keep him out of the game, but the Hall of Fame is different, it’s what you’ve done in the game, not outside the game.
