Do I have a shot at the MLB?
I’m 13 years old, 5”8 and 125 lbs.
I am the starting shortstop for my AAA baseball team.
I’m very fast, great contact/batting for average hitter, and a decent power hitter.
I do baseball specific workouts including 100 push-ups, 100 sit- ups, 100 squats, sprints, wrist workouts and do 100+ swings every day.
During the summer i’m joining an infielding and hitting clinic at a great baseball training facility.
On my off days i’m going to bike down to the batting cages near my house and try to get some good swings in.
My plan is to try out for the best AAA team in the province next year and try to improve my game everyday; I know it’s a longshot but, do you think I have any chance at the MLB?

You’ve got a great start. I wouldn’t plan too far ahead however. One level at a time is the best way. Next step will be the best possible high school player. College after that. If it doesn’t work out you’ll at least have the degree to be like the rest of us. Good luck though.
