How do i hit harder in football?
Okay, i’m in 7th grade and pretty big for my age (5’5) 140lbs. My technique is near perfect as are my instincts. However, i just don’t have the extra aggresion and intensity that would make me hit harder? what can i do to make me more aggresive when hitting in football? not just tackling but blocking too (im d-end and tight end).
Also, how am i supposed to “wrap up” the ball carrier when he is lowering his shoulders and putting his helmet down?
Go for the legs, if he gets low, you get lower. Work out and do muscle building exercises, and bulk up. The heavier/muscly you’re the harder you will hit people. Plus you kinda gotta lay your body on the line if you want to rumble someone, but remember you may get the shit knocked out of you… Its the chance you take.
