I suck at batting in this game. I try and try and try but I can’t do anything. My main issue is timing. I am always early with slow things and always late with fast balls. I can’t time my swing either. Is there anything I can do to stop batting .200?

Just like actual baseball and most things in life, you have to practice. Try setting the difficulty down until you get the hang seeing the pitch. Or switch to Classic mode for batting, where you’ll only have to press A (on Xbox) or X (on PS3) to swing. That way you can only focus on timing. If it’s in the mode where you play your own character, patience, because both you and your player will get better over time.
