Hitting tips for MLB 2k9 for Wii?
Does anyone have hitting tips for MLB 2k9? Everygame I seem to strike out at least 10 times, and maybe get a few hits. Is there a trick to know what pitch is coming? I have it on the easiest setting also. I can do pretty well in the tutorial, but once I am in an actual game forget it.
I don’t have an answer for you, but thought you’d like to know you’re not alone. I’ve played about 5 games and have about a total of 10 -15 hits, scored 2 runs. I’ll be interested to see if you get some tips.
A couple of ideas for you. You can start by choosing easier pitchers to face until you get better. You can change the batting view and increase the zoom, so you aren’t so far behind the hitter. I found that setting yesterday and it helped me see the pitches a little better. I scored 5 runs yesterday against the Yankee’s 4th or 5th starter, don’t remember his name at the moment.
