In MLB 10 The Show, are there any tips on how to guess the right pitch to hit?

I know how to guess the pitch but are there any secrets on how to know what exact pitch is coming to you so you can get better hits?

Your best bet is to guess fastball every time and don’t swing until you get a good fastball to hit. The pitch mapped to the x button is the pitchers best pitch therefore they will throw it most and its usually a 4 seamer. I hit a lot of home runs guessing low fastball every time.
