Plate tectonics questions! (For my science homework.)?
i am having trouble with some of my science questions!
please help me!
1. describe what occurs at plate boundaries that are associated with seafloor spreading.
(i think this one might be earthquakes but i’m not sure)
2. what are the 3 plate boundaries where volcanic eruptions can occur?
3. how are convection currents related to plate tectonics?
4. is to complicated, it requires a picture that i don’t have.
5. how do scientists predict when/what time a tsunami will hit the coastal area?
if you can help me with any of these it would be greatly appreciated!!!

5. how do scientists predict when/what time a tsunami will hit the coastal area?
scientists use past events and past times of earthquakes to predict when the next one will occur. they look at the dates of past earthquakes which give them an idea of when thee next one will happen.
3. how are convection currents related to tectonic plates?
convection current- the circulation of hot and cold fluids due to differences in temperature and resultant changes in density
tectonic plates- A rigid section of Earth’s crust that moves relative to other such sections on the Earth’s surface.
answer: convection currents and tectonic plates relate because they both change or move due to other things that happen which causes it to change.
