We have been playing softball for 3 years now.She still doesn’t understand the concepts of the sport,and isn’t so atheletic.She struggles at even catching,hitting,throwing the ball.Any good techniques?

Help her practice.The best way is to have her throw the ball to you,and then let you throw it to her.Batting is simple,pitch the ball at a comfortable speed and let her hit it.This should be helpful!

Starting in the back of the box, making a crossover step with the toe to the plate, and keeping shoulder and bat back are fundamental keys. To be an effective slap hitter, players must make contact with the ball at or behind the plate. Using live and slow motion video, Miner is able to show the proper techniques presented in this DVD. The drag bunt is also a focus of this presentation. Footwork and shoulder turn are similar, but the drag bunt is executed with one hand on the bat. Also discussed is “The Vig,” a type of hit that is disguised as a bunt. Once the second baseman moves to cover first, the hitter strives to hit it into that hole by executing the Vig.
